Annie Byrd

Annie Byrd is the CHRO of RootsID, a group of decentralized identity specialists building open source software for digital identity. Several of their projects have been funded by Catalyst. She is primarily focused on DoulaID, the identity app designed to connect Doulas to sustainable jobs, clients, and resources.

Annie’s graduate work is focused on reproductive justice for marginalized communities. Through that work she has identified opportunities to reduce the maternal mortality disparity in Baltimore and beyond. Click here to learn more about her work.
